University of Sussex: Centre for Continuing Education

The University of Sussex is an outstanding educational institution with a long tradition of encouraging mature students. CCE caters specifically for this group, offering an exciting range of part-time programmes which are ideal for people who wish to study in a flexible environment, whilst also fulfilling other commitments.

Three outstanding new BA degrees have been developed and students can now enrol for the autumn. They are: ARCHAEOLOGY AND LANDSCAPE, CREATIVITY AND THE ARTS and CULTURES AND COMMUNITIES.

CCE has organised three open days with a range of activities (University Centre Hastings 19th May and Brighton Jubilee Library 24th May & 9th June). Tutors and specialist staff will be on hand to talk to you and give you an informal introduction to the new degrees, as well as advice on financial support while you study. You can also find out about the other CCE programmes which include: Vocational Study, Open-entry short courses, Stand-alone courses, a Foundation Degree, Postgraduate Programmes, Supported Learning, Summer Events, Open Lectures and Conferences.
