An outstanding boarding education for children from all walks of life
Christís Hospital is a unique, co-educational independent school. Founded by Edward VI, in 1552, to care for the children of Londonís poor, the Christís Hospital Foundation continues to ensure that children from a wide variety of backgrounds, many of whom would not otherwise have such an opportunity, are given access to a public school education of the highest calibre. Set in the Sussex countryside near Horsham, West Sussex, the School gains excellent academic results.
As well as offering a first class education, the School enables pupils to develop other life skills which cannot be learned in the classroom or laboratory. These give them the confidence and ability to progress in every department of life, extending their educational and social horizons.
