Farley Farm House

1 April 30 October 2011

Farley Farm House is the former Sussex home of Lee Miller and Roland Penrose, can be considered a unique testament to the Surrealists. On the walls there are works by Penrose and Miller, and from their collections. Farley Farm House still retains the atmosphere created by its owners and its famous visitors who included Picasso, Man Ray, Max Ernst and Richard Hamilton.

The Farley Barn Gallery is housed in a magnificent old Sussex barn, in the grounds of Farley Farm House. A series of temporary exhibitions by artists of international standing, and talented new names, are held here. Works on show during 2011 include paintings, drawings, sculptures, textiles, jewellery and accessories.
